Project Overall Health | Comments |
---|---|
• The overall health of the project has changed to Green due to the project addressing the pending late deliverables, development delay for Version 12, and the proposed change in development methodology for Boats and Waterways. DPR has provided an updated Requirements Traceability Matrix as required. • Version 12.0 development completed and is now in testing. |
Focus Area/Rating | Comments |
---|---|
Governance |
• Monthly Executive Steering Committee meetings have been established. • April’s meeting was held on April 17, 2025. It was well attended as usual. • The Business Project Manager (PM) is actively engaged in current activities and decision-making. • Governance Plan is in place and processes, for the most part, are being followed. |
Time Management |
• Based on the integrated Project Schedule submitted by the DPR, the project is slightly behind schedule. UAT Session 2 is late. It was scheduled to be completed on 4/29/25. Decision on whether Session 3 is needed has not been made. • The following Deliverables are late; however, the critical path is not impacted. Due dates changed for the following: DEL003 – System Security Plan, DEL004 – Disaster Recovery Plan, DEL015 – SLA Management Plan, DEL018 – Configuration Management Plan, and DEL020 – Process Improvement Plan. |
Cost & Contract Management |
• The Project Manager has developed the ability to report on actual costs. • Some work still needs to be done financially. For example: the IV&V and Project Manager contracts should be in Consulting & Prof. Services: External; the CDT Oversight Contract should be in C&PS: Interdepartmental. |
Scope Management |
• The scope management plan is being followed. • There were no formal scope changes in the month of April 2025. • Boats and Waterways scope change is due to a change in methodology accepted by DPR. |
Resources |
• All resources appear to have the tools to do their job. • It appears the project is well-staffed based on progress being made. |
Quality |
• Vendors lack transparency which leaves the department guessing about how the project is progressing. • Delivery dates for DADs were changed because initial dates were missed (DEL 003 – System Security Plan, DEL 004 Disaster Recovery Plan, DEL015 SLA Management Plan, DEL 018 Configuration Management Plan and DEL020 Process Improvement Plan). • Deliverables (DEL003, DEL004, DEL015, DEL018 and DEL 020) have had their dates reset for May 2025. • Deliverable Acceptance Document (DAD) reviewed and meets the CDT Oversight Framework standard. • While the DAD meets the standard, CDT recommends that all DADs be as specific as possible in what is being accepted and that they be followed as tasks on the integrated project schedule. |
Risk And Issues |
•There are no new risks or issues that need to be escalated. • IPO suggests opening a risk/issue if transparency with the vendor does not resolve as expected. |
Transition Readiness |
• Organizational Change Management regularly conducts monthly Change Champion Network meetings. •Transition appears to be following the plan. |
