Provide CDTFA with new data sources, data analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to better analyze and evaluate tax return data. Data sources, new and existing, will be used to determine trends and detect anomalies in tax reporting. This effort will result in actions to proactively educate taxpayers, increase compliance, and generate better audit leads and outcomes. Data analytics and AI results will be integrated into CDTFA systems such as CROS for further action.
